Laser hair removal uses concentrated light energy to target the pigment (melanin) in your hair follicles. The light is absorbed by the follicle and converted into heat, which damages the follicle and inhibits future hair growth.
Most clients need 6-8 sessions spaced about 4-6 weeks apart for optimal, long-lasting results. The number of sessions can vary depending on hair type, skin tone, and treatment area.
Most clients describe the sensation as mild warmth. Our diode laser includes a built-in cooling system for a more comfortable experience.
Yes! Our triple wavelength diode laser is designed to be safe and effective on all skin tones and hair types, including deeper complexions.
We treat virtually all areas of the body including underarms, face, legs, bikini/Brazilian, chest, back, arms, neck, and more.
Absolutely. We treat many male clients for areas like the back, chest, neck, and beard line for long-term grooming ease.
Please shave the treatment area 24 hours before your session. Do not wax, pluck, or thread, as the hair follicle needs to be intact for the laser to work.
Avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, and self-tanners for at least 1-2 weeks prior. Don't use active skincare products like retinols or acids on the treatment areas 3-5 days before.
You may experience mild redness or swelling, similar to a light sunburn, which usually resolves within 24-48 hours. Avoid heat, sweating, and sun exposure for 24 hours post-treatment.
There's no downtime. Most clients resume normal activities immediately, but we recommend avoiding workouts, hot showers, or saunas for 24 hours.
Many clients notice hair reduction after just one session, but full results develop over several treatments as the hair growth cycle progresses.
Laser hair removal is not recommended during pregnancy.
Treatment time depends on the area. Small areas like underarms take 15-30 minutes, while larger areas like legs or back make take 45-60 minutes.
Shaving cuts hair at the surface, while laser hair removal targets the follicle, offering long-term hair reduction and smoother skin without ingrown hairs or razor bumps.
Missing a session can delay your results. Try to stay on schedule every 4-6 weeks to ensure the laser targets the hair at the correct growth stage.
Before your first session, shave the area, avoid sun exposure, and arrive with clean, product-free skin. We'll walk you through the rest at your skin!
